This week on The WEVE Morning Show, our Artist of the Week was Lita Ford. Born to English and Italian parents across the pond in the UK before moving over to the US at age 4 and picking up the guitar at a very young age, Lita Ford is well known and loved by many!
Lita Ford has released many albums, but her most popular ones are “Lita” from 1988 and “Stiletto” from 1990! These albums spawned the hits “Kiss Me Deadly” which is her most popular song by far, and “Cherry Red” which is also very well known! You may have also heard her rock ballad “Close My Eyes Forever”, which features amazing vocals from Ford!
While Ford’s biggest asset is undoubtedly her vocal range, she also shreds the guitar with ease! I recommend checking out “Kiss Me Deadly” to see what I mean by that.
