LUTSEN, MN (KDAL) – Just before 2 p-m on Monday, several fire departments in the Lutsen area and the Cook County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a fire at the Caribou Highlands Lodge.
They arrived to find a building that contained three townhomes completely engulfed in fire.
Two neighboring buildings were also evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries were reported and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
The building was a total loss.
