MOUNTAIN IRON, MN (KDAL) – A fire Friday night in the 5700 block of Marble Avenue in Mountain Iron has left the house a total loss.
One of the homeowners was treated for smoke inhalation by members of the Virginia Ambulance Service.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the fire was caused by a ten year old playing with a lighter and an aerosol can.
The Red Cross was contacted to help the dislocated family.
The Mountain Iron Fire Department was assisted by several other fire departments from around the area.
