DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A statewide loosening of COVID-19 restrictions has allowed Grandma’s Marathon to expand their plans.
Based on the Governor Walz timeline for eliminating capacity limits and distancing requirements, spectators will now be welcome and the post race celebration and entertainment will return.
The post race celebration will be moved from the finish line area in Canal Park to Bayfront Festival Park where live music will be featured throughout the day.
Organizers want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible so proper precautions such as face masks and distancing is still encouraged even though not technically required.
