DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – After being closed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center in Canal Park is re-opening Friday.
The U-S Army Corps of Engineers will require masks for those who have not been fully vaccinated while inside the building and guests are asked to maintain social distancing.
Hand sanitizing stations and wipes will be available throughout the Center for use by visitors.
While they were closed, several changes were made inside the Visitor Center including a large welcoming monitor in the front lobby with vessel schedule and way-finding information.
The summer schedule for the Center is 10 a-m to 6 p-m Thursday through Monday. They will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
