SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has approved the Superior Water Light and Power (SWL&P) plan for a community solar garden.
The 470 kilowatt solar array is large enough to power about 115 homes and will be built at 2828 Hammond Avenue near Heritage Park in Superior.
Construction will begin in the spring of 2021 and the cost of installation and maintenance will be fully paid by customers who choose to participate in the program.
