This week on The WEVE Morning Show, The National Parks were our Artist of the Week. Hailing from Utah, The National Parks are a folk/pop band that have released four studio albums and several EPs and singles in addition. Their music sounds similar to artists such as Vance Joy, more recent Taylor Swift work, and Echosmith.
Albums include “Young”, “Until I Live” (my personal favorite), “Places” and “Wildflower”.
While the compositions may start out simple, you’ll often find The National Parks adding layers of depth to their songs as the song goes on. String sections, maybe some banjo, even rock guitar parts add depth to their songs and really help me appreciate the instrumentals.
Here is a YouTube playlist of the songs we shared on The WEVE Morning Show this week from The National Parks. Check it out, and listen to 97.9 WEVE weekday mornings around 8:20 to see who our next artist of the week is.
