SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The City of Superior is partnering with the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve to celebrate International Migratory Bird Day on Saturday.
The public is invited to kick off the day with a Bird Walk on Wisconsin Point starting at 7:30 a-m.
The walk will be followed by a special program at the Lake Superior Estuarium on Barker’s Island at 10 a-m.
Talks include work to improve the habitat for migratory birds in the Lake Superior estuary and bird related videos.
Spotting scopes will also be set up to view birds around the island.
