1. The player who goes first in “Connect Four” can win 100% of the time . . . assuming you start in the center column, and you “play perfectly.”
2. When marshmallows were created in the early 1800s, they were flavored using the root of a plant called the marsh mallow. But it was hard to extract the sap from the root, so marshmallows haven’t been made out of actual marsh mallows since the late 1800s.
3. The last college in the country to have intramural tackle football was Notre Dame. They wore pads and helmets and everything. It was dropped earlier this year, and THIS was the first fall without it.
4. Mozart composed ALL of his music after the age of 40.
