TWO HARBORS, MN (KDAL) – Lake County Public Health and Lake View Hospital and Medical Clinics are now working to distribute COVID-19 vaccine to Lake County residents.
The plan is to complete vaccinations for healthcare workers and congregate care residents and staff and then open pop-up clinics for those 65 and over starting on Monday, February 1st.
Lake County residents 65 and older can call a the vaccine hotline at 218 834-8434 to get a message on making an appointment. Those interested are urged to check the message each day for updates.
Pop-up clinics will also be offered to elementary educators and childcare workers through appointments made by their employers.
There continues to be only a limited supply of the COVID vaccine and uncertainty as to when more will arrive.
Lake County Public Health and Lake View are committed to providing the vaccine to everyone who wants it, but it may take some time.
