ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – Anglers are reminded to remove fish houses from lakes in the northern third of Minnesota by the end of the day on Monday.
The Minnesota DNR says the removal deadline for Minnesota-Canada border waters is March 31st.
Besides removing the ice shelters, anglers need to clean up everything they left on the ice or be cited for littering.
Structures left on the ice after the deadline can be confiscated and the owners prosecuted.
