DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Armory Arts and Music Center has announced the appointment of Deb Schaber as its new Executive Director.
Former Director Mark Poirier retired in 2025 and Michelle Miller served as interim Director since his departure.
Schaber will oversee operations at the Armory, the ongoing capital campaign and the continued construction and renovation of the 110 year old building.
When completed in the summer of 2027, the 52 million dollar project will feature performance spaces, artist studios, community facilities, historic displays and food and retail vendors.
As the new Executive Director, Deb Schaber brings over two decades of experience in large scale event production, nonprofit leadership and strategic fundraising in the Twin Cities area.
She earned her undergraduate degree at UMD and says she is excited to be a part of the Armory project that has much potential for both the arts and the community.
