BEATTY TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – On Saturday afternoon three area fire departments responded to reports of heavy black smoke in the area of the Crane Lake Road and Kennedy Road in Beatty Township.
They arrived to find a seasonal cabin, located about 15 miles north of Cook, fully engulfed in flames.
The cabin was a total loss and there was also heavy damage to an older boat and several adjacent out buildings.
There were no injuries and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
