MINNEAPOLIS, MN (24-7 News Source) – A mass shooting in Minneapolis Wednesday has left three people, including the suspect, dead and six others injured.
Police have identified the suspected gunman as Carlton Neal Johnson Junior of Minneapolis.
According to court records, Johnson was fighting an eviction proceeding based on a series of threatening incidents at the downtown apartment complex where the shooting occurred.
Among the wounded were three Minneapolis police officers who are said to be in stable condition.
Interim Police Chief Bill Peterson said law enforcement was “familiar with who this individual was.”
FBI Director Kash Patel said the FBI also responded to the shooting.
