ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (MPFA) has announced over 88 million dollars in grants and loans for various wastewater and drinking water infrastructure projects in the state.
That includes 22 million for two projects in Duluth to replace 704 lead service lines with copper.
Since it began in 1987, the MPFA has provided over 7.7 billion dollars for public infrastructure projects across Minnesota.
Funding for the projects comes primarily from the Clean Water and Drinking Water Revolving Funds, the Water Infrastructure Fund and Small Community Wastewater Treatment Program.
