DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Hot, humid weather is on the way for parts of the Northland.
The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Heat Advisory for much of northwest Wisconsin from 11 a-m to 8 p-m on Tuesday.
Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer and Price Counties in Wisconsin and Pine County in Minnesota will see heat index values up to 103 degrees.
To prevent heat exhaustion or heat stroke, drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, wear lightweight, loose fitting clothing and stay in air conditioned rooms if possible.
Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles.
