DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The installation of new lighting will result in lane closures in both directions on the Bong Bridge for about a week starting on Monday.
The project will also require ramp closures on the Minnesota side of the bridge.
The westbound ramp from the Bong Bridge to northbound I-35 and the eastbound ramp to the bridge from northbound I-35 will be closed from 6 a-m to 6 p-m next Monday (12/22). The ramp from southbound I-35 to eastbound Highway 2 will close from 6 a-m to 6 p-m on Monday the 29th.
Motorists should follow marked detours during the closures.
The work is part of the Bong Bridge rehabilitation project that began in August.
