DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The yard waste compost site at Resource Renew (also known as the WLSSD) begins seasonal hours on Wednesday.
Residents can drop off leaves, brush and yard trimmings from 8 a-m to 4:30 p-m Wednesdays through Saturdays at the Compost Site at 27th Avenue West and the waterfront.
The site was begun by Resource Renew as a community service 25 years ago since yard waste was banned from Minnesota landfills.
Bulk compost is also available for purchase but the bagged compost is not available at this time.
