DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Duluth Police have identified 19 year old Delainey Turnipseed as the suspect involved in the shooting that occurred in Canal Park on Monday night.
The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Turnipseed who is believed to have fled the area.
The pending charges include 2nd degree assault and threats of violence.
The victim, a 17 year old male, was shot after a physical altercation between the two men who were known to each other. The victim was taken to a hospital with a non life threatening gunshot wound.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Turnipseed is encouraged to call 911.
