Aug 24 (Reuters) – Hormel Foods on Monday appointed former Tyson Foods executive Ash Bhumbla as chief financial officer, effective September, as the Skippy peanut butter maker continues with its leadership overhaul.
Here are some details:
• Bhumbla has previously served in CFO roles for Tyson Foods’ Chicken and International segments, and will succeed interim finance chief Paul Kuehneman, who has held the position since October 2025.
• Kuehneman will remain a key senior leader at the company, Hormel said in a statement.
• The appointment follows Hormel’s naming of company veteran John Ghingo as chief executive officer last month.
• Hormel Foods beat second-quarter results estimates in May and said demand for food has remained resilient, despite weak consumer sentiment. It is set to report third-quarter earnings on Thursday.
