THOMSON TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – A two vehicle crash on Friday in Thomson Township left two people dead and two others injured.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Department says the crash occurred around 9 a-m at the intersection of the East Stark and Canosia Roads and involved a Chevrolet Impala and a GMC pickup.
The two occupants of the Impala, 57 year old Anthony Drake and 57 year old Tammy Drake from Oronoco, Minnesota died at the scene.
The two people in the pickup, a 32 year old man and a 1 year old child from Thomson Township were taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet for treatment of their injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting in investigating the crash.
